Portfolio > Marbling on Paper and Fabric

I have had the incredible opportunity to work on a historical marbling project, wherein I was commissioned to replicate Victorian marbled papers. In 1857, Charles Spurgeon—the most popular preacher in the Victorian world—promised his readers that he would publish his earliest sermons. For almost 160 years, these sermons had been lost to history. Multiple volumes will finally be published by B & H Academic, and will include my marbled designs on the special covers for the Collector’s Editions of The Lost Sermons of C. H. Spurgeon. The marbled papers that I created replicate the patterns on Spurgeon's original notebooks. Here is a video, created by the publisher, showing a behind the scenes look at the making of these special marbled papers.
