This fabric collage was created in a time of experimental play, combining marbled fabric, digital prints on silk and cotton, and machine and hand stitching. This piece was created intuitively, without an initial plan. I piled the material on my work table and began composing. I imagine the figures as grandmother spirits, blissfully residing in an idyllic, and unreal space where they and nature, both idealized reside together.
