I found a collection of classroom photographs from the 1950’s at the flea market. I began to imagine that these children, like myself as a child, enjoyed pretending that they were characters in stories. I created costumes for them through collage, revealing how I imagine they truly might have wanted to be seen.
The pictured image is the original artwork. I have also created limited edition copies of this work.
